We’re Lynne and John Streeper, proud residents of Fredericksburg, VA — and more proud fans of Moo Thru ice cream! Our love story with Moo Thru began as customers, where every scoop felt like a sweet connection to Virginia’s farm-fresh goodness. It didn’t take long before we knew: we didn’t just want to eat the ice cream, we wanted to share it.

With a passion for our community and a dream to bring joy on wheels, we launched our very own Moo Thru truck. Now, we’re hitting the road across Fredericksburg, Stafford, and surrounding areas; serving up smiles, one scoop at a time. Whether it’s a school event, community festival, or private celebration, we’re here to make your special event a little sweeter.

We’re honored to be part of a larger Moo Thru story — one that starts on a family farm and ends in a handcrafted scoop.

Moo Thru was founded by 4th-generation dairy farmer Ken Smith. The Smith Family has owned and operated a dairy farm in Fauquier County for decades. With the help of his family, Ken opened the first Moo Thru location in June 2010, just two miles from the family farm — home to champion Holstein cows fed the healthiest diet.

Every batch of Moo Thru ice cream is handcrafted and slow churned in Remington, Virginia, using fresh milk straight from the farm and high-quality, often local, ingredients. You can taste the difference in every scoop — from gourmet classics to seasonal creations like blackberry Merlot with dark chocolate chunks and whiskey caramel.
